Do you want to win a blue ribbon at your county fair? This is a great opportunity to purchase good quality club lambs. See the lambs when they are shown at 9:00 am, and then bid on the one you want at the auction at 12:00 noon.


Auction 2: Spinning and Weaving Equipment

Have a loom or spinning wheel you’re no longer using? Looking for a new challenge instead? Now’s the time to take that plunge! Come bid on books, spinning wheels, looms, carders, shuttles – everything for the fiberholic except the fiber! Absolutely no fiber accepted. Scroll down for details.

Auction 4: Handspun Handwoven Shawls from the Sheep to Shawl Contest
Sunday - 1:30 pm - Pavilion


Have you ever watched something develop right before your very eyes that was so beautiful it would forever remind you of spring days and gentle animals? Come to the unique Maryland Sheep & Wool Festival’s Sheep to Shawl Contest. Sheep breeders, shearers, spinners and weavers from up and down the Atlantic region come together once a year to entertain and intoxicate you with their skills. The end result is a special shawl that you can bid on, own, or give to a special friend or family member. These unique garments are auctioned at 1:30 pm on Sunday. Come and share the excitement of the Competition and Auction!
