Sheep Poster Contest

Posters must be received by mail before May 2 or may be entered in person on Friday, May 2 between 12:00 noon and 3:00 pm. Entries will be judged at 5:00 pm. Posters may be picked up between 5:00 and 6:00 pm on Sunday, May 4. Unclaimed posters become the property of the Maryland Sheep Breeders Association.

All classes will be judged in four age divisions:

• Mini - 7 years old and under
• Intermediate _ 8 to 10 years old
• Junior _ 11 to 13 years old
• Senior _ 14 to 18 years old

Classes

• Class 1 Breed Promotion
• Class 2 Wool Promotion
• Class 3 Meat Promotion

Only one entry per class, trophies and Ribbons will be awarded in all classes.

Entries will be judged on:

1. Idea Expressed
2. Information Given
3. Construction

Special Trophy for Best Maryland Entry!

Posters must be submitted on standard poster board, 14" x 22" or 22" x 28". Posters may be in any medium. Please do not use any copyrighted characters. Artist's name may not appear on the front of the poster! Please place name on the back. Exhibitors need not be 4-H or FFA members.
